Courtney Burness is a writer and performer based in Los Angeles, CA. Courtney recently penned the feature romantic comedy BEEN THERE ALL ALONG, which premiered in December 2023 on Peacock and Amazon Prime.
She has appeared in THE POLITICIAN, EUPHORIA, MAD MEN, LAW & ORDER: SVU, PREMONITION, and more.
Courtney has written for SALT Audio, Q Code Media and Reel One Entertainment. Her writing has garnered recognition from Austin Film Festival, Script Pipeline, and BlueCat Screenwriting, amongst others.
She holds an MFA in Writing for Film & Television from Emerson College and a BA in Film & Television from UCLA. She is currently working in feature animation development.
